Italian Artistic Glass:
Tradition Meets Imagination
Malbi Decor proudly presents the artistic glass creations of Massimo Lunardon, an internationally recognized Italian glass artist whose work represents the perfect balance between tradition, innovation, and imagination.
Working near Venice, in the heart of Italy’s historic glassmaking tradition, Massimo Lunardon has dedicated his career to exploring the endless possibilities of hand-blown glass.
Italian Artistic Glass: Tradition Meets Imagination
Since opening his own workshop in 1988, after years of apprenticeship in Italian glass furnaces, he has continuously challenged the technical limits of this extraordinary material. His collaboration with artists and designers, together with his personal research, has led to the creation of unique sculptural works admired by collectors around the world.
His artistic pitchers, glasses, and decorative objects inspired by marine life — including fish, seahorses, and octopus figures — transform everyday objects into extraordinary works of art.
Each creation is handmade in Italy, making every piece unique.
Through Massimo Lunardon’s work, Malbi Decor continues its original mission: bringing exceptional Italian craftsmanship, artistic vision, and timeless beauty into your home.

Many of his creations are inspired by animals, marine life, and natural forms. Fish, octopus, turtles, cats, birds, and other playful subjects become functional objects for serving wine, decorating a table, or adding character to a refined interior.
The result is a collection that feels artistic, practical, and highly distinctive: Italian glass design created for serving, display, collecting, and gifting.
Italian Borosilicate Glass Art by Massimo Lunardon
Massimo Lunardon is an Italian glass artist whose work brings together craftsmanship, imagination, and functional design. His pieces are created in Italy from borosilicate glass, a material appreciated for its clarity, lightness, and technical precision. This allows each object to be practical at the table while remaining expressive as a decorative piece.
At Malbi Decor, the collection includes Italian glass decanters, colorful glass pitchers, decorative bowls, glasses, and collectible tableware. Many designs are inspired by animals, marine life, and natural forms, turning everyday objects into sculptural pieces with personality.
Venetian Inspiration and Contemporary Italian Design
Lunardon’s work is rooted in the creativity of the Venetian glass tradition, while maintaining a contemporary style of its own. His pieces should not be described as made in Murano, but they reflect the broader Italian heritage of glassmaking through expressive forms, fine details, and playful elegance.
The collection is especially appealing for collectors who appreciate contemporary Italian glass design with character. Some pieces feature vivid blue accents, marine-inspired subjects, and playful animal forms, creating a refined balance between art, function, and personality.
Collectible Glass for Serving and Display
Each Massimo Lunardon piece is selected by Malbi Decor for its balance of craftsmanship, visual charm, and everyday function. A decanter can serve wine beautifully while becoming a conversation piece; a pitcher can add color and artistry to the table; a bowl or centerpiece can decorate a room even when it is not in use.
